Liberum Appointed as Nomad and Joint Broker to Shanta Gold
We are pleased to announce that Liberum has been appointed as Nomad and Joint Broker to Shanta Gold Ltd with immediate effect.
Shanta Gold is an East-Africa focused gold producer, developer and explorer with assets in Tanzania and Kenya. The Company’s flagship asset is the New Luika Gold Mine located in southwest Tanzania. New Luika is a low cost, established, cash generative operation with high grade resources. New Luika is forecast to produce 80k-85k oz of gold in FY20.
Alongside New Luika, Shanta Gold owns Singida, an exploration and development stage project located in central Tanzania, and the recently acquired West Kenya exploration and development licences from Barrick Gold.
The acquisition of the West Kenya assets provides Shanta Gold with realisable growth prospects and the opportunity to become a significant East-Africa gold producer.
Tamesis Partners LLP has been appointed as Joint Broker alongside Liberum.
