Panmure Liberum expands its capability through four key hires across the business
Mark Dickenson appointed as Head of UK Regions to bolster Investment Banking capability across the UK. The business strengthens the Execution team through the appointments of Ben McCorkill, Ben Fuller and Lewis Brennan.
Panmure Liberum, one of the UK's largest independent Investment Banks, today announces four key hires across its Investment Banking and Execution businesses.[1]
Mark Dickenson joins the business today as Vice Chair, Investment Banking, Head of UK Regions, bringing extensive experience, connectivity and a regional focus to Panmure Liberum’s Investment Banking offering. Dickenson brings over 25 years’ experience, most recently at Royal Bank of Canada where he was Head of European ECM & UK Corporate Broking. Prior to this, he spent nearly a decade at HSBC, where he co-headed its UK advisory and corporate broking business.
Mark will split his time between Panmure Liberum’s London and Leeds offices. This structure will mean Panmure Liberum is well positioned to support both the local and national growth agenda. The appointment continues the strong momentum at Panmure Liberum, whose model is being proven through a series of client wins in the first quarter of 2025, including the brokership for FTSE100 easyJet plc.
Panmure Liberum is also pleased to announce three new appointments in Execution, with Ben McCorkill, Ben Fuller and Lewis Brennan all joining from Winterflood.
Ben McCorkill is already in post and brings over 20 years’ experience in UK Mid & Small Cap Sales Trading. His focus will be to improve Panmure Liberum’s distribution and its ability to facilitate business for clients. Ben Fuller will join the business in June as Head of Investment Funds Trading, and will be supported by Lewis Brennan, who has also already joined the business as Director, Investment Funds Trading. All three appointments add strength, depth, and capacity to the firm’s already well-developed trading capabilities.
