Liberum acts as Sole Bookrunner on a Placing to raise £32.8m for SigmaRoc plc
We are pleased to announce that Liberum acted as Sole Bookrunner on a Placing to raise £32.8m for SigmaRoc plc (“SRC”) through the issue of 79.9m shares at 41p.
£25.8 million (€29.1 million) of the proceeds raised will be used to fund the Initial Consideration in respect of the acquisition of Carrières du Hainaut, the Belgian blue limestone and aggregates business, and the balance will be used by the Company for future investment opportunities and general working capital.
Liberum delivered significant and high quality demand, from both new and existing institutional investors, during a period of significant political and market turmoil. The Placing Price of 41 pence was equal to the mid-market closing price the day prior to the transaction launching. On Admission of the Placing shares to AIM, it is expected that SigmaRoc’s market capitalisation will exceed £100m for the first time.
