Liberum acts as Joint Bookrunner on the Merian Chrysalis Investment Company £95m Placing
We are pleased to announce that Liberum acted as Joint Bookrunner on a Placing to raise £95m for Merian Chrysalis. Numis acted as Joint Bookrunner alongside Liberum.
The Placing will enable the Company’s Investment Adviser (Merian Global Investors) to execute on its pipeline of compelling investment opportunities, with a significant proportion of the net proceeds to be invested in You & Mr Jones LLC, and the remaining proceeds to be invested in other pipeline and follow-on investments. You & Mr Jones LLC is one of the world’s leading marketing technology groups, delivering enterprise-level marketing technology solutions to the world’s biggest brands and operates in a sector poised for disruption.
Merian Chrysalis IPO’d in November 2018 raising £100m to invest in pre-IPO companies. Since IPO, share price performance has been strong and the Company raised a further £100m and £175m through placings of ordinary shares in April 2019 and September 2019 respectively. Following the Placing, Liberum has helped the Company raise a total of £470m from IPO.
