Panmure Liberum and the SDGs
We integrate environmental, social and governance considerations into our decision making and strategy to be a company that operates within the ecological ceiling. As part of our day-to-day operations, we aim to achieve five of the UN Sustainable Development Goals that are applicable to our business and its broader societal role.
Panmure Liberum is committed to supporting the wellbeing of its employees, recognising stress as damaging to an individual’s health. The appropriate support and consideration is given in situations where work-related stress is identified.
Our Workplace Wellbeing calendar details all the upcoming events and sessions that employees can join during their working day. These are offered by Vitality, our Health Provider, and range from yoga classes to HIIT sessions to mindfulness classes.
At Panmure Liberum we want our employees to develop their skills and have an impactful career. We offer regular staff training and mentor programmes to foster a nourishing educational environment. Panmure Liberum does not see a university degree as an essential criterion of a good employee, and we are proud to offer apprenticeship programmes with on-the-job training.
Panmure Liberum has an equal pay policy and promotes gender equality both within the industry as a whole and as a company. Panmure Liberum also has an enhanced paternity and maternity leave policy in place.
Panmure Liberum believes that decent and fulfilling work improves self-worth and individual wellbeing. This should be accessible to all. The promotion of agency, individual thinking and security at Panmure Liberum produces a more efficient and fulfilled workforce.
As an employer we recognise our responsibility in our employees’ wellbeing at home and at work. We believe our policies and business practices guide conduct and ensure the wellbeing of our employees.
Although operationally Panmure Liberum has a relatively small carbon footprint, made smaller through reduced employee travel over the pandemic, we want to capitalise on these emissions reductions. We recognise the risk climate change poses and will support the transition to an energy-efficient global economy. Since 2020, Panmure Liberum has been carbon neutral.
